Guitar Classes
EDDY BARILA has been a popular figure in the Australian Music Industry for the past 30 years. As accomplished in classical guitar as he is with rock, Eddy began his career on the Warner Chappell label before becoming the resident arranger/engineer at Wirra Willa Studios (under the late Willy Rout,Tribal Records).
At any early age, Eddy completed his A.M.E.B eighth grade in classical guitar, but decided he was a rocker at heart. Teaching for the last 20 years, he also co-wrote jingles with his singing teacher at the time, Steve Baker, including The Sea Eagles football clubs theme song, which was sung by Doug Parkinson in the late 80’s.
The sound of Eddy’s guitars can be heard on many, many albums ranging from blues, gospel, jazz, metal to classical & pop. He has played on & engineered the music you now hear on The Wizard of Oz Shows & DVDs.
Eddy comes to The Wizard of Oz Funland to teach aspiring guitarists.
